It was a pleasure to participate in the 2022 Argus Biomass Nordics and Baltics Conference, in Copenhagen, to introduce hemp as a “Star Fuel of the Future”.

We were honoured to be invited to speak at the £55m SBRI Phase 2 Launch Event held by BEIS and KTN, and be part of the movement for industry to switch to lower carbon fuels.

Our hemp seeds being drilled earlier this year. You can already see the plants germinating well with green shoots sprouting across the fields. In the space of 3-4 months the plants will be well over 10 feet in height before time of harvest.

We were chosen as a Top 5 (Plastic Free) Solution Impacting the Construction Industry from 1,478 global startups and scaleups. The StartUs Discovery Platform is used by Samsung, Nestlé, Siemens, Bayer and Magna.

We acted as advisors from industry to the Hemp 30 team, including speaking to Dr Joe Ross, Dr Maggie Smallwood and Lucinda Tolhurst, who all have at least 15 years specialising in bio renewables and/or agriculture.

We presented to the attendees at Downing College (University of Cambridge) on hemp biocomposites use in vertiports, aircraft and supporting infrastructure.

We delivered a speech on scaling carbon negative solutions using Hemp, addressing CDP’s assertion that 100 companies are responsible for 71% of global CO2 emissions.
